....and yes, stott had put in a reference to whalley....remember my encounter in clacton etc etc...'invasion of the body snatchers' etc etc....lol....anyway, he was to tell her "you're the gall that runs the spindles"...a biking reference.....which in turn - is all about marr - having been given his first bike by oscar, in blackheath park....i had previously had a 'go' and been able to ride it...however, they hadn't told me how to brake and so i then fell off onto the grass...lol....oscar then said that he would put stablisers upon it and when i complained that i could already etc etc...."it's not for you!"..."but i'm sure that michael will let you"...remember his previous identity had been michael richardson...."no, i won't! it's my bike!" etc etc...hmmm....and so oscar had been treating him as a son - even in those days..i wasn't allowed a bike, as a child - late 60s, blackheath...at 16 years old and needing a bike to get to powergen - regarding that MI5 russian course - 1980...i used my 'birthday money' to buy a lady's shopper secondhand (tiny wheels) - from a private seller listed in the classifieds of the solihull news....always having to'make do' etc etc......go figure:
