For the record - he married an upper-class aristocratic woman in the end - one of ELIZA MANNINGHAM-BULLER's circle in the UK. EMB knew his children and she had known him as a 'racconteur' in her childhood...a teller of stories, about WWII...she had very much liked him (as everybody did) a tall man with apparently 'similar sort of eyes to you'...EMB was talking about myself....and how PEULEVE generally preferred the company of men...macho men not gay men...despite him being a bit 'the other way' himself...in short, he was uneasy and not attracted to the 'feminine' in general.
