In an extraordinary double-bluff, TODDY had fooled GILL's father into thinking that his father was Islamic. Gill's father had no religion to speak of - and his father hadn't practised a religion either.

This is all a bit like great grandfather GROS time...except with Islam in the family tree rather than Judaism.

MARTIN's grandfather was actually a Sephardic Jew and nothing to do with Islam.
