Last night I was thinking about MACKINTOSH...as well as RENEE MACKINTOSH the Art Nouveau artist/architect...who had designed so many buildings in GLASGOW...as well as furniture...just about anything, really...and how I had remarked to MR RUSSELL that MAGNET HOUSE looked a bit MACKINTOSH to me...he had told me that the architect had designed it so that it would light up GOLD in the sun...but most of the time it looks really rather threatening and 'dark'...

Anyway, i then remembered SCOTTIE telling me that his family were related to RENEE MACKINTOSH through his mother's line...and I wondered if that was possibly why he had ended up at APPLE/MACKINTOSH 'GREEN TOWER'...

I then remembered finding out that RENEE MACKINTOSH had been jooish - whether or not this is stated in his autobiographies...

I then remembered MAC-INTO-SH

MACDONALD into SHIN BEIT?

CAM (as in TASCHMAN 'CAMBER' of roads) into SHIN BEIT.

Anyway, I then remembered how as children we used to wear MACKINTOSHES...but they seem to have gone out of fashion nowadays...those thick plastic/rubber coats...

I then remembered MRS STREDWICK taking her children and myself to an AQUARIUM SHOW in LONDON...possibly/probably at the SOUTH BANK but I cannot quite remember...

Anyway, it was a very small auditorium...and there were 'clowns' up front who were throwing buckets of water at the audience of parents and young children, now and then...which is why MRS STREDWICK had lent me her eldest daughter's spare mackintosh to wear...RUTH and myself were sitting on the stairs because it was so packed out - whilst MARY, WILLIAM and their mother, sat upon one of the rows...

There was a massive FISH TANK on stage...and the 'clowns' were doing silly things with them...then it began to turn into a horror show...

Firstly a man came on to show us how to BEHEAD, GULLET AND DEBONE a massive fish - taken out of the aquarium...he did so upon a table up front...there was quite a bit of blood splashed upon the tarpaulin floor...

After that, TODDY got up on stage in a huge YELLOW sou-wester and YELLOW mackintosh...and made the sign of the CROSS to get all of the parents and children under mind control...a woman was then brought on stage and TODDY beheaded the FISH - as he was to call this woman victim...the idea was to conflate a WOMAN with a FISH...

TODDY then made the sign of the CROSS again - tapping upon it at various places...and we all 'woke up' again...

All I could remember afterwards was getting splashed a lot by water...but almost nothing about the actual stage show...last night...the whole horror show began to come back...starting with the FISHERMAN and the FISHMAN...and ending with the literal murder of an ill cult victim upon stage...as the FISH.

i then pondered the MACKINTOSHES that everybody wearing, in that small auditorium...

We were all IN MACKINTOSHES...

I then wondered about the IBM computers and XEROX scanner equipment that we had been shown at POWERGEN in 1980...

MACKINTOSH APPLEMAC computers...

IBM computers...

They are supposed to be 'rivals' aren't they?
