You see how he phrases it - he doesn't dare to call FLUORIDE a bad thing...he then continues to talk about drugs that could actually be positively useful.

MCDONALD was banking upon people reading the above article - not knowing what the drugs were about..thinking that they had 'nasty-sounding names' and therefore deducing that these drugs must be a 'bad thing' - well, it ain't necessarily so.
