What MARTINE wanted to know in her flat was this...that HENRY had always loved her...there had never been another...'the first cut is the deepest'...she wanted confirmation that HENRY had always been emotionally faithful to her...her childhood friend...her only real friend...and he told her so...in a way that I would never have done...HENRY even told her that he worshipped the ground that she walked upon but he couldn't look at her whilst saying it...because he didn't want to frighten her off...MARTINE was happy....overjoyed...her HENRY was back...it was all going to be all right now...but was it?
