"In Indonesia bee larvae are eaten as a companion to rice, after being mixed with shredded coconut "meat", wrapped in banana leaves, and steamed'.
Interesting...I have heard that before somewhere...did we all taste it, MCDONALD?

It brings to mind that special 'rice dish'...'chicken and rice' my mother thought...which my Swiss grandmother used to cook sometimes...but I cannot remember it at all...which makes this all so strange...

MUM told me that a JAVANESE relative within the Swiss family had taught them JAVANESE cooking...but she was unclear as to what status this woman was...either a great grandmother or somebody who married into the family...MCDONALD figured that this was all highly important but I do not know why...another type of BEEHIVE then?
