i get the feeling that this restaurant doesn't exist anymore...but it was extremely popular in its day...I lived in OXFORD in 1998/9...and it was packed out in the evenings...live music etc etc...and I think that it is important to 'out' where it had been...it had lots of pictures/posters of Africa...CND...hippie icons and brightly coloured flags...all rather RASTAFARIAN...

Anyway, the first image that I hit upon...having opened up STREET VIEW of OXFORD upon google maps was TURL STREET...where that terrible LINCOLN COLLEGE is...see previous notes as to how the ill cult used to run their 'JACK THE RIPPER' from this college...

...and I am wondering now...OBAMA is still an issue here...was he part of the 'family and friends' who ran that restaurant? He had been educated in the UK as well as in Russia...a public school boy...who had turned up in Exeter circa 1990...with a British accent...
