I got 'BLACKBAG' back today...which was a euphemism for the SAS circa 2003...they had told me that their icon - near to AMADEUS' 'citadel' upon the walk down to the pier...would be a BLACK BIN LINER...shades of ARMY humour around VIZ...and that pisstake of LASSIE who comes to the rescue of his little boy owner...but instead of a COLLIE DOG you have BLACK BIN LINER...charging around the countryside...'getting' the villains...

BLACKBAG...I had bought in the PORT MEIRION gift shop in 1997...HELEN RODWAY had encouraged me...I had the money that I had earnt from PRAGUE to 'treat myself for once'...and it looked like a bargain too good to be true at the price...a brilliantly simple and classic design...that could double up as a teacher's bag or for the 'office'...and A4 folders fitted into it...
