...nobody was allowed to have them in the UK...see previous notes upon my father telling me that one circa 2005...'not enough compatible blood' apparently...and everybody was limited to so many pints a year, during surgery...

...the SAS found out about that one...and tried to get transfusions...even by staging quite dangerous accidents in order to qualify at A&E...that is how desperate it had become...

PRINCE WILLIAM's blood was of a very rare type and the hospital only just had enough for a full transfusion...
