GILL's best friend didn't get the required A' level grades to get into MANCHESTER...and so they were separated.

BEN STENSON managed to get into his 'first choice' of university i.e. EDINBURGH despite the fact that he hadn't achieved the usual resquisite of three A' grades at SCIENCE.

Nowadays, you might think that CLASS had a role to play in that one...places upon courses for wannabee DOCTORS are very limited and they require the best grades... 3 A's at A level, at the very least...

BEN STENSON didn't get that - although he was still accepted at EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY...his first choice of university, despite doing 'no study' and not understanding a word of science...so who wrote his exam papers for the guy to get A's and B's...?

You have to be a STRAIGHT A' student to get onto a medical doctor course, normally.

What does that say about EDINBRUGH UNIVERSITY?

What does it say about their recruitment policy?

What does it say about their medical academe?

What do I mean about CLASS? BEN STENSON was from an UPPER-MIDDLE CLASS family...his mother was ARISTOCRACY who had 'married down'....he was bad at Science and only expected to get very low grades...then RIMINGTON/ROYALS stepped in...and what do you know? A place at EDINBURGH...with a 'woman on top of the heap' as 'the old woman who mustn't be offended' who ran the whole MEDICAL set-up at EDINBURGH...who had, according to STENSON 'really fancied him' and was 'around his little finger' at interview.
