i suppose that ATOS wants me to ring them up to change the appointment to a weekday/saturday because you just 'know' don't you that the trains won't be running on a SUNDAY without severe disruption - the railway employees told me as much at MANNINGTREE...they do all of their 'repairs' on a SUNDAY so it is very unlikely that any trains will run on time...although you might just 'get lucky'.

So it looks like I will have to change this date - otherwise there is only one other train which will get me in on time and that is nearly 2 hours early...and waiting around in freezing weather...to be picked up by the ill on a deserted street in COLCHESTER on a SUNDAY morning - is not the way to go, is it?

As far as I can remember the town centre is GHOST TOWN on SUNDAYS...highly dangerous to be walking around there on your own...
