I just rang ATOS to change the SUNDAY appointment and this is how it ran:
I explained about the trains at length until the customer services person stopped me and asked if I wanted to change my appointment - I replied that I did and that any other day except SUNDAY would do...
He then asked me if I wanted an appointment on SATURDAY but then said 'of course that won't do'...I said that it would because the trains run normally upon SATURDAY. He then made the appointment for me upon this SATURDAY 27TH NOVEMBER at 10:35.
I then asked him if ATOS would be sending me a letter to confirm the above and he replied that it probably wouldn't get there before the above date.
i sensed a 'big rat' here and replied that I wanted everything to be above board...I had to have a letter with an appointment.
He replied that this wasn't necessary - I replied that it was.
He then told me that he would put me on hold...and for ages...I figured 'this is the usual ill practice of trying to run my mobile down'...he had been able to change the appointment before and immediately without putting me on hold - so why the delay now?
Anyway, luckily my mobile didn't run down and he then came back to tell me that he had booked a new appointment for this date:
11.25am 14th DECEMBER
I asked if I would have a letter stating this and he replied that he would put one into the post.
