This is a rhetorical essay. Rhetorical because there's no support for it's claims.

It's interesting but not a short story. I don't know what it is. I don't know if you're serious or trying to have some fun with us.

There's no support for anything in it, so I can't take it serious. I kept waiting for a clue, something that would say it's all in good fun. But there wasn't anything.

If it were true I'm sure the real authors would have gone to court and pruned a lot of the earnings off the Harry Potter money tree grown by JK and the publisher. The copyright laws are good for twenty-five years I think, so, would be too late now. But if it was plagiarized I don't think it would have been hard to prove at the time, or at least before the statute of limitations ran out.

Anyway, the piece is written professionally. I just don't know what to make of it.

On a personal level I have no use for any of the Harry Potter stories or the junk like it that proliferates the bookshelves. There's a lot more interesting books out there to read besides shit like Harry Dumbpotter and meets Puff the Magic Dragon.
