I forgot to mention that a 'lady' turned up to inspect our finished mobiles in that art and crafts class on one of the terrapin huts...she was a ELIZA MANNINGHAM-BULLER type - in fact it could have been her, for all I know...she immediately noticed mine and said "I can see that you are a LOVER OF DARK COLOURS"

i got very indignant, near to tears and said loudly that I was NOT it was simply that I hadn't been allowed any other paints...and she then replied words to the effect of 'that's enough of that, quieten down' etc etc...and went on to compliment the others on their mobiles.

Anyway, many decades later - in the CIA LAB...we re-made that horrible mobile...painted it in the same colours and then washed those colours off...until the polystyrene was white again...as 'therapy'...

So what was it all about?

I am still unsure but I know that the POLYSTYRENE represented your 'human eggs' and as boys were also making those mobiles...it meant 'fertilised eggs'...
