I have amended the email slightly - just in case he doesn't bother to open the attachments:
Dear Mr Hopkins
Thank you for all of your help in this matter.
I am quite happy to settle my COMBINED BILL FOR GAS AND ELECTRICITY immediately.
However, one thing is confusing me:
Why have I received two COMBINED BILLS through the post - both stating a different amount of money to be paid - yet for the same time period.
Which bill is the correct one?
I have attached both bills to this email for your attention.
1. £463.98 for the time period 09/12/10 - 08/04/11
2. £448.82 for the time period 09/12/10 - 08/04/11
Secondly, I would like to have your firm assurance and commitment to the fact, that NPOWER will not bill me for either GAS or ELECTRICITY, after I have paid this bill - for ANY time period before the 8th April 2011.
Please reply - answering both points above - firstly, why did I receive two bills for two different amounts but for the same time period.
Secondly - do I have a legal assurance from NPOWER that they will not attempt to bill me for gas or electricity, ever again - for any time period before the 8th April 2011 after I have paid one of the two above ‘combined bills’.
You need to decide which is the LEGAL BILL because something is wrong here, isn’t it?
Kind regards
Emily Gyde
