I need to write a new email back to MR HOPKINS at NPOWER….do I want to confuse him by putting two points into one email - for example:

1. why have I had two different bills for the same time period AND 2. ‘if you promise never to bill me for anything again before 8th April 2011 - then I will pay one of the aforementioned bills, basically because I cannot be arsed anymore…because I can see that the ill are going to try and make me pay about £10 per week for fuel…as a random figure not consonant with ’how much fuel has been used’ from their arbitrary ‘band’ system of payment.

The problem with NPOWER is if you put more than ONE POINT into an email - they tend to not only ignore more than one point - they tend to NOT answer any point at all…and talk gibberish about ’something else’ in their reply…

Dare I risk it?

I will risk it:

Dear Mr Hopkins

Thank you for all of your help in this matter.

I am quite happy to settle my COMBINED BILL FOR GAS AND ELECTRICITY immediately.

However, one thing is confusing me:

Why have I received two COMBINED BILLS through the post - both stating a different amount of money to be paid - yet for the same time period.

Which bill is the correct one?

I have attached both bills to this email for your attention.

Secondly, I would like to have your firm assurance and commitment to the fact, that NPOWER will not bill me for either GAS or ELECTRICITY, after I have paid this bill - for ANY time period before the 8th April 2011.

Please reply - answering both points above - firstly, why did I receive two bills for two different amounts but for the same time period.

Secondly - do I have a legal assurance from NPOWER that they will not attempt to bill me for gas or electricity, ever again - for any time period before the 8th April 2011 after I have paid one of the two above ‘combined bills’. You need to decide which is the LEGAL BILL because something is wrong here, isn’t it?

Kind regards

Emily Gyde
