CLACTON is really quite lively today in terms of traffic and people walking into town but obviously nothing like as many people, during that long HOT weekend...but there is a normal day's traffic going on, outside of my window...so obviously a lot of people are 'not bothered' about the ROYAL WEDDING...

I then thought about LADY DIANA's wedding and how the TV was on for the duration...but some of my family didn't bother...ED was upstairs watching 'something else' - probably sport, on another channel...i came in to watch the vows...but that was it...apart from 'getting it wrong' in the registry book...

I wondered about MILITARY INTELLIGENCE at their 'darkest'...would they try a 'mass experiment' during such an event with just about every TV on, in the country? Highly unlikely because most people just walk into the living room and then out again...and only catch bits of it...if you wanted to really 'get' a mass TV population...you would do it during an ENGLAND MATCH or DR WHO episode etc...
