Well this is an odd search - 'car leaf 8'...it brings up PETER MANDELSON and then according to TODDY...NIKOLAS HULBRUSCH...see above...why?

The LEAF in question was of course a CLOVER...I knew that but i wasn't sure about the car...now I know...and the 8 refers to the CIA, according to ROZ and RIMINGTON...

...although I have to say that the largest 4 LEAFED CLOVER that I was ever to find, was in SHANGHAI...see previous notes...and I can remember MARK R laughing and laughing at that one, in surprise...

You see he had wanted me to think hard about CLOVERS...and to that end, in the chateau garden...he and GILL had scattered loads of seeds...which grew...and then I found lots of 4-leafed clovers here and there...not altogether...and I was told that this was a CIA exercise to sharpen my vision...it was relatively easy to find them...once you kept reinforcing the mental image of a 4 LEAFED-CLOVER even though you were looking at masses of 3 LEAFED-CLOVERS...you see the tendency of the mind is to see 3 leafed ones and then be blinded to a 4 leafed one...you have to replace what you are seeing with an internal mental image of what you want to find...once you have done that...you can override the vision of a sea of 3 leafed ones...to find the one that you want...

...and NIKOLAS HULBRUSCH taught me that technique...it is quite difficult because you keep on losing the image of the 4 leafed clover in your head...something to do with the brain...it appears to replace it, every time you look at 3 leafed clovers...and so you have to keep on reinforcing it, harder than it sounds...
