i have just got to the library...to take that PRIEST and TRIUFF book back...I can't remember the titles properly, I didn't read them properly either...the covers were simply 'aide memoires'...I have a hunch that GILMORE wrote the latter...appalling 'off the rails'...sometimes when you read fiction, the state of the mind of the author really 'worries' you...and then you laugh and drop it down the side of your bed etc etc...

The reference to that horror movie SCANNERS made me smile...we were all shown that in 1980 to remind us of what 'horror stories' we all were...even though scanning is a purely military skill...you scan other people's microchips...that is all...and telepathy is facitiliated by the microchips....the film may or may not have been released by 1980 - the ill tend to use their programming materials for years 'on the quiet' before release to the general public...

What else today? I cycled up HAYES ROAD...the end closest to the High Street...you have a furniture shop and then a GREY railing gate with 'spearheads'...the side of the wall behind it says 80...number 80 and then I flashbacked to MCDONALD and co using this stairway behind the gate...it was a CIA 'location'...whether it is still used by them or not...I have no idea...anyway, I took a photo and will post it later...
