So I decided to have a look at CZECH TRADITIONS upon WIKI....and couldn't find anything about 'the new wife jumping over the broom and then being beaten all around the village with a broom by the menfolk'....

...what I found was two images of the affordable 'caviar' of POLAND and the CZECH REPUBLIC...namely POPPY SEEDS on bread and cakes....a very cheap item...in most bread/cake stores...the cheapest of all, in fact...you would pay more for an iced bun....so was this all a CHEAP TRICK by USSR mind control programmers? I am beginning to think that it was...memory dump and then 'hey you love POPPY SEEDS'...even if you don't grow them in your own country...and POPPIES had nothing to do with your indigenous culture until 'recently'...modern history, let us say...

I remember the first time that I tried this...not pleasant....not entirely unpleasant but not pleasant...so why was this such a tradition? People normally have traditions of culinary expertise that most people tend to love or hate....no inbetweens...but i ask you - who actually likes eating POPPY SEEDS? They are nasty, nasty nasty...

I was told by SKORNIK's sister that these tarts/buns covered with POPPY SEEDS were very, very special...but she said it in 'dark tones' of voice...like 'you won't like it to taste it, particularly - none of us do - but it is our rite - a food rite'...
