i will have to send another online email to MORRISONS...I mean, they are not exactly being helpful to a customer - who may have been a victim of fraud upon the part of their organisation - are they?

That still doesn’t answer my question - why would ‘head office’ request a payment rather than my local store?

In answer to your question, there is no difference between each banking code, it may appear as one or the other depending on whether head office or the store have requested the payment.
