Anyway, whilst working for the BRITISH COUNCIL I mused over the massive amount of monetary takings every year...totted up how many DTOs there were worldwide...how little the salaries of the employees were...and then looked at the tiny amount that the BRITISH COUNCIL was ploughing back into 'projects abroad'...and realised quickly that the figures did NOT add up...even though i was then told that 'overheads' were massive in the CR...really? For one floor of a building on UL. NARODNI?...that was all the DTO occupied...the main centre had the ground floor below...

in short, a massive amount of money was 'going missing' every year...it wasn't being ploughed back into 'good works' as NON-PROFIT MAKING ORGANISATIONS are required to do by law...because that is the whole point, isn't it?

So if LOCAL GOVERNMENT goes the same way...what do you think will happen?
