Somebody has given us a summary of the 'story so far'...and yes I can remember now...MARK R had this 'king for the day' idea and got MR ICKE to do 'EMPEROR OF OZ' and he liked it a bit too much...and nearly overthrew MARK R's set-up with his 'gang'...and then wrote his tongue-in-cheek account of what had been going on, with himself as SCARECROW (although MARK R would have made quite a few of them play SCARECROW as EMPEROR for the day - I know that MARR was 'treated' to that one).

Anyway, here is the summary:

Where did the story begin?

It began in Kansas with Dot's return from her tour of duty in Afghanistan. She inherited the family farm and went home to see to it, only to fall victim to the machinations of a few locals out for a lusty night. A bump on our heroine's head sends her careening into a land that her great-grandmother told her stories about, a place she didn't believe in, but now, what choice does she have?

What's happened?

It's been decades and our three companions have gone their separate ways. Scarecrow lost his throne and his head. Tin Man lost his love and his way. Only the Lion found himself and is now King of Pop, if not the forest. Glinda has taken over as Empress of Oz and wields power through her unstoppable tiktok army. Old wounds and ancient rivalries, lost loves and lost friends -- the past is dredged up with the return of Dorothy, Toto, and this time there's no Wizard and no Wicked Witch to draw the lines of battle.

Where did we leave our friends?

After thirteen episodes, here's where we left off: Dot is running for her life; Scarecrow is staring a torch-wielding lynch mob in the face; Tin Man is running toward the old ancient seat of terror -- the Wicked Witch of the West's old lair at Kiamo Ko; Lion has just gotten a mysterious phone call! As for Glinda, she sits on the throne of Emerald City and sends out her minions in search of an ancient magical tome in an effort to solidify her power and dominate Oz!

But what's next?

Ah, now, that's the question!
