My mother had told me that Arnold was in a 'home' and getting worse recently but I wasn't expecting this...well, G-d bless his soul - ARNOLD was always a really good sort of chap...what does Dad mean...will I be invited to the funeral or not...he was our uncle after all...anyway, I will pass on condolences....and I should ask whether it is a private funeral for only closest family and what sort of flowers might be appropriate to send...that type of thing...

As my parents only contacted me on the Saturday and Arnold died on Wednesday...and funerals generally take place within the week...I would guess that it is a private ceremony...
