MRS GRAHAM had lent me a department book of JOHN DONNE's poetry...and for no apparent reason, other than that she liked it...which i was then to pass on to GILL who loved it...I had merely flicked through it...but he appeared to see 'a lot more' in it, than I did...no doubt with the help of TODDY...
