I am not sure that i can quite believe this - look at the photo above...the BOURNVILLE COLLEGE that I knew in the early 1980s...was an old VICTORIAN red-brick establishment (as small as a grammar school) within that old PRE-RAPHAELITE 'modern village' of mock-Tudor designs...cottages for the workers at BOURNVILLE...a socialist idyll...a decent life...a village life for the workers...but in the early 1980s...no longer that, owned by wealthy entreprenerials types who 'liked a bit of history'....
So looking at the new campus I can only gasp and say:
The English are not in the business of manufacturing CARS anymore 'make art, not cars'.
