My name is Sandra and I work as part of our ONCE Complaint billing team at npower.
I have investigated both your Gas and Electric accounts and would like to explain what conclusions I have arrived at.
Starting with the Gas account. Re-billing your account from 14/09/09 read 590 to 20/07/10 read 1290 on the Tariff we are currently billing you on the balance would be £124.96p debt.
We have estimated that, on your tariff at present, your estimated consumption would be approx. £452.64p per year. We can offer a Regular payment plan, which would mean you paying £38 per month for your consumption and in order to recover the debt, over 12 months, a further £10 per month, totalling £48 per month
If I, as a goodwill gesture and on the understanding that you will need to pay by Direct Debit, re-bill your Gas account on our SOL10 tariff from 14/09/09 read 590 to 05/07/10 read 1280 on SOL10 tariff. Then from 05/07/10 ( the SOL10 tariff ended on this date) read 1280 to 20/07/10 read 1290 SOL19. This will leave a debt of £28.57p.
We have estimated that on our SOL19 tariff your estimated consumption would be approx. £346.45.per year. Paying this by Direct Debit would mean paying £29 per month for your consumption and in order to recover the debt, over 12 months a further £2 per month, totalling £31 per month.
With regards to the Electric account. Re-billing your account from 18/09/09 read 15 to 15/07/10 read 928 on the Tariff we are currently billing you the balance would be £26.21p debt. We have estimated that, on your tariff at present, your estimated consumption would be approx. £159.16p per year. We can offer a Regular payment plan, which would mean you paying £13 per month for your consumption and in order to recover the debt, over 12 months, a further £2 per month, totalling £15 per month.
If I, as a goodwill gesture and on the understanding that you will need to pay by Direct Debit, re-bill your Electric account on our SOL10 tariff from 18/09/09 read 15 to 05/07/10 read 905 on SOL10 tariff. Then from 05/07/10 ( the SOL10 tariff ended on this date) read 905 to 15/07/10 read 928 SOL19. This will leave a debt of £16.74p.
We have estimated that on our SOL19 tariff your estimated consumption would be approx. £146.71p.per year. Paying this by Direct Debit would mean paying £12 per month for your consumption and in order to recover the debt, over 12 months, a further £2 per month, totalling £14 per month.
Please note the above figures are only approximations using the readings we have on your account and that consumption can fluctuate.
