All I can think of is that delicious fried potato called ROSTI in Switzerland...that you have to fry many times...HANNI told me how the SWISS make it and it is a SWISS and not GERMAN thing...you simply shred the potato and fry it at least 3 times....it is highly fatty...highly calorific and if you want to go mountaineering in INTERLAKEN...a good idea to have a plateful beforehand....

It is funny that in my childhood, I was sure that HANNI pronounced this potato dish as RUR-SHTI...although now she says it is ROSHTI....
