homological

Is 'homological' a word?

You see, I typed in 'homosocial' and WORKS spell-check immediately changed it to:

HOMOLOGICAL

I have no idea what that means - because I have never come across it before.

I therefore changed it back to HOMOSOCIAL (as in men who only like to have social relations with other men) and saved the document - only to find that the same HOMOLOGICAL word - came out, once I had pasted and posted my document.

Isn't my word/spelling check - behaving in a weird way?

I mean - why would it substitute HOMOSOCIAL for HOMOLOGICAL?
