I can now see that ROZ had got a handle upon her 'little boy alter' - and had thoroughly researched ATTILA THE HUN.

I was to do the same - many years ago - in relation to HENRI PEULEVE but there were only a couple of books that mentioned him - one had a chapter upon him...in point of fact, it was ELIZA MANNINGHAM-BULLER who gave me most insights into what had happened to him...a broken heart at an early age then 'madness'...he loved this woman passionately for the rest of his life - her family refused to let them get married...she was then married off to somebody of a higher class and wealthier...he got married to but he never forgot her...after his children were grown up he separated from his wife and went back to the PYRENEES...where he had staged his SOE campaign and built up his 'army' of resistance fighters against the NAZIS...he was then found dead in a pensione...although the reasons for his death were unclear...he died relatively young and of no known cause...he had had an evening meal beforehand...a glass of wine...gone up to bed...and in the morning he was found dead in his bed...he was buried in Spain - an unmarked grave...and the 'love of his life' was told about it - and she came to put flowers upon his grave.
