I have just had a call from 01255503499 - I didn’t answer it and so the caller left a message on the ansaphone. I then listened to it and it was apparently from CLACTON LIBRARY:

“…if you would still like a copy of THE MIND MASTER and HERMAN HESS AND HIS CRITICS please call this number…thank you”

I honestly cannot remember ordering either of those two books and at any given point…you see, the last time that I checked my RESERVATIONS list- I only had ONE book reserved upon it and that was the new MR ICKE book which the library hasn’t managed to obtain as yet…so where the above two book titles come from…I have no idea…

Maybe I reserved them a year or so ago - but then they would have shown up under RESERVATIONS once I had logged on - wouldn’t they?

The caller sounded a bit like the head librarian at CLACTON...but also a little like SUSANNAH CHAPMAN...my mother's old friend...the name CHAPMAN...that so-called RUSSIAN SPY called ANNA CHAPMAN...
