Anyway, the whole of SOLIHULL SCHOOL roared with laughter at GILL's first performance upon their stage - and he was immediately popular as a result.

As i said before -I suspect TODDY in all of this...GILL's accent/dialect was so overblown - it wasn't natural and at no stage in his life.

TODDY had probably wanted a 'laugh' and made him get up on stage and do that number - I am sure that I am not wrong in that.
