They had a 'mini-dalek' - very realistic and you could get inside and pedal it around...and work the rods, as it were...we were all very young children...

I can remember TODDY putting GILL inside and GILL loved being a DALEK...TODDY took my hand and said "I am the DOCTOR and you are my assistant, HONEY" we have to defeat the daleks...but he didn't try to defeat the dalek...instead he called GILL:

"THE ISLAMIC DALEK" as a pun upon DALEK/KHALED...see previous notes.

TODDY then tapped upon the metal exterior and explained:

"You see HONEY - it's the MAR-TIN...it's made of TIN"

It is strange isn't it? How many little boys love playing at being DALEKS.
