I also began to wonder about the surname of my great-grandfather GROS...the MR BIG to the LITTLE people...the PETITS...

Great-grandfather GROS wasn't a tall man in the only photo that I have of him...a poster published in relation to an exhibition of the dried up lake of Neuchatel and his 'archealogical find' there...of an early fishing civilisation - which had lived on sticks...in huts...upon the lake...related to the East...possibly Chinese...the pottery pieces suggested this type of cultural origins...

I now have to type in a BLUE code: prements

Great grandfather GROS loved fishing too much - his lawyer's business suffered accordingly...he was most fond of his youngest daughter EMILIE...whom he called 'little fisherman' and they would often go out upon the lake to fish, in his rowing boat...
