http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_Camel

I loved that CAMEL in Jerusalem...somebody had left it in the middle of BATHSHEBA/SULTAN's dried up pool - seemingly unattended...it had the seating and rugs upon it...was I suppose to 'have a go'? The thought didn't even cross my mind. I didn't even try to stroke it (although I really wanted to) knowing that a camel-bite can be pretty nasty...and they are reputably bad-tempered.

I took a photo of it and had it as wallpaper upon my desktop for ages - whilst living in HARWICH...because it made me smile every day...

What about these SYRIAN CAMELS...nearly 10 feet tall at the shoulder...that is a similar size to a giraffe, isn't it?

"The Syrian Camel is an extinct species of camel from Syria. Found to have existed around 100,000 years ago, the camel was up to 3 meters (10 feet) tall at the shoulder, and 4 meters (13 feet) tall overall.[1] The first of the fossils were discovered late in 2005, and several more were discovered about a year later.[2]"

"It's a joke" TODDY says.

Really? A faked 'find'?

I can vaguely remember MARK R writng this article:

...and I can certainly remember the image that one of GREEN TOWER put together - see above.

I now have to type in a RED code: shconall
