The funny thing yesterday is that I got to the beach at a time in the afternoon - which I thought was an incoming tide time...because of the BBC site...but looking at the promenade...it was still wet in parts with stones everywhere...as if the tide was going out and not coming in...because the sea had withdrawn slightly from the promenade to show a bit of beach...and I wondered what was going on....

Also whilst swimming...I found myself suddenly out of my depth which was something that I had decided not to do whilst doing these 'seasonal swims'...and so I simply swam back again...it wasn't at all dangerous...but it made me think 'i wouldn't like to be at that RED FLAG again' - which is a long way out, I might add...
