Finally, I remembered last night...being led to TODDY's house on STREETSBROOK ROAD by GILL...who was whispering words to the effect of 'just tell them that you did it for a laugh - we'll get away with it then'...he was talking about the RADIO ROOM 'pile on' at LANGLEY SENIORS.

RIMINGTON was there - she was distraught...she was muttering to TODDY 'we can't kill them - the POLICE would get too suspicious' etc etc...as GILL and myself, sat on the floor and just laughed and laughed...giggling insanely, like little children...

RIMINGTON then got furious with the pair of us and shrieked "You are HOPELESS, HOPELESS, HOPELESS characters"...and repeated that one, quite a bit.

So now I know how my 'inferiority complex' was added to - in my early teens...and why I was then to see GILL as a 'hopeless character' as well as myself.

SCARLETT was also in the living room and he quietly added 'HOPELESS- that's interesting'...

You see I am quite sure that SCARLETT knew the 'big picture' and he knew that we would have to meet up with 'HOPE' as in ROZ before we could get anything done...
