...and that is why TODDY ended up in CHINA...fascinated...so did DALDRY and IAN RICKSON (early on, I might add)....trying to understand the FORBIDDEN CITY and riding their bicycles around town....

It was a metaphor for something...and they were 'on to it' in a subconscious way....
