As far as i can remember FOLK ended up as the FAUX KING and the FAUX KEY...as in the 'wrong key' and the 'wrong king'..."wrongking around" as MCDONALD put it...

"I've been WRONGKING around" he would say...when asked what he had been up to.

I have always had a 'bad feeling' about FOLK activities...because FOLK MUSIC/FOLKLORE reminds me too much of weirdy village beliefs and superstitions...plus the TASCHMANNS dressed up as MORRIS DANCERS and beating everybody in sight with their sticks...plus 'FOLK' reminds me of THE WICKER MAN and all of those folksy villagers who turn out to be a demonic sect, on that Scottish island...or those 'witches coven' 1960s UK movies where the local homely villagers in East Anglia (or wherever) turn out to be a witches coven who meet for their Sabbath in the local church crypt with CHRISTOPHER LEE as their warlock...and of course there was that time in 1980 when the programmers took us by coach to a certain village in this area - where all of the villagers were under mind control - dressed up in their weirdy folksy costumes and then performed a demonic rite...the vicar's wife and head of the Women's Institute then did a 'hail Satan' ceremony for us all to watch...that is why I really wasn't sure about ROZ and SC going off and joining the FOLK SINGING community...I didn't 'get it' at all...but maybe they were spying on them...
