Anyway, after criticisms of ISLAMIC LAW in general (before 2003) - the SAUDIS had then decided to OUT law cases publicly (to the WEST) - in order to show that women are not treated unfairly in relation to men, in their kingdom. They were protected by ISLAMIC LAW.

I am sure that this is true - according to the letter of ISLAMIC LAW within their kingdom.

So men then got prosecuted for looking at women in the 'wrong way' in public.

I am not sure if that is a step in the right direction...
