.....and what's new this saturday evening, dazzlenation?....well, i'm having another look at crooms hill....having remembered more about that house....for example, mcgowan had given marr the key to get in....mcgowan then turned up later on....to lock a bedroom door that whalley had recently opened, having found a dead body under the quilt/duvet, in bed....now, i have no idea who that person was....but seeing as byatt used to program in there....hmmm.....mcgowan had the keys....marr then said that mcgowan would cover it up....mcgowan replied that he would deal with it, later as he locked that bedroom door etc etc....hmmm....all a tad suspicious....looks like marr 'n' whalley were being set up as potential suspects....regarding their 'ghost writer' experience....and yes, marr had written 'possession'....with a bit of outside help but that is all...i can remember teasing him about it....in relation to the booker prize...he was outraged that the novel had been stolen from him....whilst i was wondering what would have happened if he had published it under his journalist's alias....wouldn't everybody have fallen about laughing?....the novel almost certainly wouldn't have made it onto the booker prize list....which raises a question about ID and authorship - regarding the content of the novel....nom de plume, anybody?...oh and at the time, i had then reminded marr of a clergyman who used to write for mills & boon....not that 'possession' is in that genre, i hasten to add....anyway, the content of the novel...something that marr was supremely equipped to write, as far as i can remember....regarding his programming as a 'gentleman of the enlightenment'....all of those texts....see previous notes upon daldry, marr, webb 'n' tomlinson as 'trainee graduates' upon that MI5 russian course, 1980....and upon that note, i wouldn't have been surpised if david miliband had also questioned 'authorship' rights to some of the other books that byatt claimed to have written etc etc....anyway, marr and whalley had wanted a reminder of a second address - regarding what byatt had been up to....the former residence of diana and denis farr upon st bernard's road, whose daughter 'joanna' ended up murdered and buried in the back garden after talking about the murder of dr craig's wife etc etc....their son 'benedict' attended langley seniors - same class as belinda nunn, met 'lynne' and robert cipolla...'E' class, as far as i can remember....anyway,the farrs...part of byatt's network and from an aristocratic background....whose nom de plume had been christine pullein thompson - regarding the pony/horse stories that whalley had written as a child....which then ended up published under thompson's name:

three sisters, anybody?....lol...the one upon the far right looks distinctly like diana farr - midde-aged in solihull - all of those decades ago, now...sylvia used to say "she's completely mad!" and laugh and laugh...as diana walked out of the door....and that is because she used to sound a bit like the 'white rabbit' from alice in wonderland...she'd rabbit on about things, with a wild look in her eye...that didn't make sense at all...sylvia was then to say that a lot of the aristocracy were like that etc etc....go figure:
