are we looking at Solomon's pool...sorry I meant Bathsheba's pool...no wrong again....bethseda's pool....in short I had learned three different ways of naming it....whilst in Jerusalem and yes the guidebook one, had been the last one and not 'bathsheba' as I had formerly said in a previous post....

 

 let me have a look at bethseda pool on google...ah - now I know where the 'confusion' had come from...the place that I had been alternately told was 'Solomon's/Bathsheba's pool'...wasn't bethseda....in point of fact, upon this side of the mirror...I hadn't visited the location below, at all...I had 'missed that one out' for some reason....bethseda's pools - see below:

 

 

 

oh I see....having walked around the battlements...I had probably seen those pools but not realised what I was looking at....

 

secondly Sharon used to invariably arrange to meet me at another location....the 'Solomon/Bathsheba' pool location....
