...what else? do you remember the DISNEY film 'BAMBI' gill? all of Michael Richardson's gang were taken to see it....including yourself....naturally, you had identified with the opening scenes....the mother shot....I was to begin to bawl uncontrollably at that point - I couldn't bear it...'little bambi all alone in the world' and had to be taken out of the cinema, as a result - despite you saying 'down the line' upon our row - and in a stoic sort of way, for such a little boy:

 "it's all right - don't cry"....

the adult in charge - was to tell me "you're spoiling the film for the rest of them" etc etc....little colin was to follow me out, as I was led away - saying "I don't like that film much, anyway"....we sat on the back seat...little colin held my hand...as we were driven home.
