...and I wonder now if that fake tiered WEDDING CAKE that I made as a sculpture at DARTINGTON was signifying something similar...all in WHITE with pillars for every tier...and on the top, instead of a bride and bridegroom...I had sprayed a broken egg shell GOLD with metallic spray...I had then attached a WHITE machine lace 'veil/trail' to the cake...and affixed GOLD INSECTS to it...children's joke-shop rubber insects, sprayed GOLD...climbing up the 'veil' to the GOLDEN EGG SHELL on top...
