oh yes, and for the first time, I worked out 'ad hoc' how to use the TIMER upon this CANON camera because the instructions do not seem to be in the instruction book...I can remember now, MARK R told me that I must never learn how to do that, for some reason...

It was quite simple...the icon above the function button on the back of the camera...choose how many seconds you want it to work from the LCD and then 'take the photo'...the camera then gives you time to arrange your hands...
