An odd note...my parents told me that they had once gone to one of those 'masterclasses' at the FESTIVAL HALL - SOUTHBANK...about 20 people attended...a very small group around PULLMAN...the basic gist of such 'classes' was that the author read out a bit of their work and then talked about it...and was open to questions afterwards...

I was amazed at the time...I hadn't begun to wake up...this must have been around 2001-4...probably 2001...anyway, I was amazed because i figured that those tickets would have been gold-dust so how did my parents manage to get a couple? They replied that they were members and that they lived across the road from the FESTIVAL HALL, in that flat in the WHITE HOUSE, Waterloo Bridge...even so, i was still a little suspicious...

Anyway, they told me about it afterwards...but they couldn't tell me what the man had said at all...not a word...what they did tell me was this:

PULLMAN was a 'big bear of a man' according to my mother...and my father replied that he was over 6 foot with a shock of hair...

Now, that doesn't sound to me like PULLMAN...not the bastard that we interviewed who was raking in the money...

The above sounds to me like THORNE or TOMLINSON...
