...and what else?...well, I was to meet an elderly man in lidl's, this morning - who was to tell me that he used to have a cellar containing 800 bottles of wine - I was to reply, with a smile "you...er...in retail?" - to which he laughed and with a crafty smile, replied that he was not....oh and he was also a connoisseur of lidl's prices...apparently their new store - a much bigger one and near to Tesco's-outside-of-town branch....had the same but at a lower price....until he realised his mistake....the pricing labels were not consonant with what was above the items for sale....LOL...anyway, having realised the mistake....he then told me that he was looking for a 'red' rather than a 'white' and meandered off...the 'wine/beers/spirits' alley/aisle is the last one before you get to the tills, in that 'newlook' store....go figure.
