anyway, the cottage which we were to escape to...well it was a largish house actually....in the fields...that has now disappeared entirely...but then i can remember seeing obama's people...construction employees setting up camp in that field now used for 'caravan holidays'.....they were to fill in that ditch...take down the telegraph poles and i suppose that they were then to entire remove that 'largish house' in which we had been put up for the night....

in keeping with what had happened to that templar castle in the south of france....every stone/brick had been removed in the end...after the 'great fire'....and then the entire area was replanted with trees....

anyway, here is MARSTAGE FARM...where we had started off....then down the ditch...the caravan site is roughly where gill was to 'fix' that telegraph pole...no evidence of telegraph poles anymore...nor of the largish house upon the horizon, surrounded by trees, a bit further on....
