and it is a 'blindspot' isn't it?

something is coming back here now...around ill cult slaves taught to see their bodies as 'cars'...with that particular 'built-in' BLINDSPOT:

T. Hughes

“Now of course, this situation is a peculiar subset of the global reality that poor people have to pay for things and rich people don’t. However, assuming you’re allowed to park anywhere is a peculiarly egregious and visible example of a kind of contempt for the rule of law (on a very small scale I know).”
Yes, this sums up the contempt, admittedly in a very small way, that rich and powerful people have for laws that they regard as irrelevant to them, and then of course the contempt many of them have for ordinary people, who more often than not, are answerable to the law in all its forms. And I always believe, that when the people at the top flaunt the law, it presents a dangerous predecent to other people, from all walks of life, to do the exact same. So, they present a very bad example to follow, far from any good example they might set.
As we have seen, some of the royals seem to think, and they certainly act, as if they are above the same laws that most ordinary people have to abide by. In a republic, no one would be outside the law, and no one would be above the law. In my view, for any law to be just, for the law itself to work fairly, it has to be applied evenly, fairly, but firmly in all cases, with no exceptions.
When will we be rid of this absurd deference, this ‘blind-spot’ towards reality in regard to monarchy, royalty and aristocracy?
